Belarus: social support to help overcome addiction

“The Social Workshop helps each of us feel like a person who can face the future with confidence and no fear.” Travel to Smolevichi in Belarus, and meet Vladimir and Vitaly, as they rebuild their lives with help from the Social Workshop, an initiative supported by the EU to help recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.

Their story is told in the latest feature from the EU NEIGHBOURS east project, highlighting how EU support is making a real difference in Belarus, changing people’s lives on the ground.
