Young European Ambassador organises virtual tour of Belarusian historical sites

On 10 April, Anton Kochatau, a Young European Ambassador from Belarus, organised a virtual tour of three Belarusian sites – Niasviž Castle, Ruzhany Palace and Kamenets Tower.

Anton prepared around 10 Instagram stories aimed at promoting these historical spots to the wider audience in Belarus and beyond. The tour was streamed on the Instagram account of the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ project.

With EU funding from the ‘Latvia–Lithuania–Belarus’ programme for cross-border cooperation, scientists from Belarus and Lithuania came together to set up an exhibition at Niasviž Castle, aiming to highlight the shared history of the two countries.

The ‘Young European Ambassadors’ initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and the Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
