Belarus, German EVZ Foundation outline cooperation areas

Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas met with Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ), Dean of the Agora Strategy Institute Harald Braun who is currently in Minsk for the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the state and prospects of further cooperation with the Remembrance, Responsibility and Future Foundation. The foundation finances humanitarian projects aimed at preserving the memory of the National Socialism victims, social support for former prisoners of Nazism, strengthening peace among nations, developing international youth contacts,” the ministry said.

The parties also touched upon the issues of cooperation between Belarus and Germany in international organizations, exchanged views on topical issues of the world politics.
