From 2nd  to 4th  June 2016 Charitable public association "World without Borders" holds the ninth international festival of creativity for children and young people with disabilities "Dreams Come True". The festival is supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Lida District Executive Committee, Lida Historical and Cultural Museum.

 

 

This year the participants to the festival have to expect a lot of surprises and innovations. First and foremost the long-awaited annual festival will be organized in Lida and a gala concert will be held inside the walls of Lida Castle.

 

The event program will always be rich and memorable. Children from orphanages will have the opportunity to participate in sightseeing tour, visit the cinema  and received treats from the partners of the festival.

 

The qualifying round of this year will be held on June 2nd  at the Palace of Culture in Lida from 12.00 to 18.00. The jury will choose the winners and participants of the gala concert. It is possible to attend the qualifying round as audience without paying any tickets' costs.

 

The gala-concert of the festival with the participation of the finalists and nominees of the competition program, as well as the Belarusian pop stars, will take place on June 3rd  at 19.00 in Lida Castle. On the big stage of the final concert will perform Alexander Patlis and Navi Group together with the guys  . After the awards ceremony, it will follow a spectacular show hosted by the special guests of the Festival, Cabaret Band "Silver Wedding" and a later on the guests of the festival will be able to enjoy the disco. A fire-show offered by the company “Fire Crows” will close the festival.The entrance to the Gala concert will be free of charge.

 

For the first time in the history of the Festival, students of boarding schools will perform not only as members of this festival of creativity, but also they will be able to help those in need. In the days of the Festival will take place a charity fundraiser for treatment and rehabilitation of Alena Statsevich, a three-year girl from Lida, who had been diagnosed with  IV stage of poorly differentiated neuroblastoma with lymph node and bone marrow. Next to all the stages of the Festival will be placed boxes to collect the funds. Everyone who comes to the event will be able to become a member of a charitable marathon in favor of Alyona. The guys will be happy to give you in return a good mood, lots of smiles and warmth.
