The Master's in Public Policy (M.P.P.) program at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs is designed to meet the needs of rising leaders in the public service professions, including domestic and international government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
The one-year M.P.P. program for midcareer professionals provides rigorous on-campus training in quantitative reasoning and policy analysis, preparing degree candidates to return to their careers with the intellectual breadth, organizational skills, and self-confidence necessary to assume leadership positions in an increasingly complex public service environment. In addition to the M.P.P., the School offers a Ph.D.degree and a two-year Master's in Public Affairs (M.P.A.) degree.
The Woodrow Wilson School serves interests in both domestic public policy and international affairs and emphasizes experiential, policy-oriented research and learning in each of its graduate programs. These programs have shaped generations of leaders, including current and former members of state legislatures and the U.S. Congress; a former U.S. secretary of the treasury, national security adviser to the president of the United States, and chairperson of the U.S. President's Council of Economic Advisers; the current governor of Ohio; Pulitzer Prize winners; presidents of foundations and nonprofits; U.S. State Treasurers; and many U.S. and foreign ambassadors.
