Within the current year, 69 new NGOs (4 international, 12 republican, 53 local), 9 new foundations (3 international, 6 local), 2 new NGO unions were registered by the bodies of justice. Also, 27 new organizational structures of political parties, 754 organizational structures of trade unions, 7628 organizational structures of NGOs were registered.

As of January 1, 2008, 15 political parties, 36 trade unions, 2255 non-governmental organizations (235 international, 722 republican, 1298 local), 19 NGO unions (associations), as well as 64 funds (4 international, 3 republican, 57 local) were on files of the Ministry of Justice. 1114 organizational structures of political parties (65 regional, 425 district and city/town, 624 primary), 22429 organizational structures of trade unions (108 regional, 770 district and city/town, 21564 primary, 37 united) and 14513 organizational structures of other NGOs (547 regional, 4121 district and city/town, 9845 other) were in the books.

As of July 1, 2007, 17 political parties, 37 trade unions, 2223 non-governmental organizations (230 international, 715 republican and 1278 local), 18 unions (associations) of NGOs, as well as 63 foundations (4 international, 4 republican and 55 local) were in the NGO register in the Republic of Belarus.

According to the Ministry of Justice, 22248 NGOs (231 international, 724 republican, 1293 local), 17 NGO unions (associations), 56 Foundations (3 international, 3 republican, 50 local), as well as 17 political parties, 37 trade unions were registered in Belarus as of March 1, 2007.

Servicing the registration certificates to the newly-registered NGOs

On May 30, 2007, the the state registration certificates were served at the Ministry of Justice (in the presence of the mass-media representatives) to the newly-registered non-governmental organizations such as The Union of Football-Players and Coaches, The Club of the Graduates of the Belarusian State Economic Univerity, and GORO International NGO which purpose is preservation and development of spiritual and cultural values of the Daghestan people.

The Ministry of Justice registered three new NGOs this April: The Penitentiary Health, Republican non-governmental organization; Entire Rus', International non-governmental organization; and the Belarusian Respiratory Society, Republican non-governmental organization.

1137 material related to registration and activities of non-governmental organizations were submitted in all to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, departments of justice under the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee for consideration in 2004.
