41,47% of Belarusian NGOs are local. A number of NGOs, functioning as branches or regional offices is considerable alike — 23,51%. It’s worth to mention, that a number of organizational structures is more than they are usually indicated by NGO heads. It happens because of organizational structures do not always have a status of a juridical person. NGOs within the frames of one or more territorial units of the Republic (district(-s), town, region) are often created for solution of very specific problems of the population on the concrete territorial units.
