In July and August, visitors to the Portal were asked to evaluate their knowledge and skills in marketing.
The results of the survey showed, that of those who responded to this question, 48% have general understanding of marketing and would like to broaden their knowledge; only 6% are satisfied with the basic knowledge in the sphere of marketing that they possess; 4% have no marketing knowledge or skills whatsoever but would like to learn about marketing; 24% consider themselves experts in the field of marketing; and 8% don’t understand anything about marketing and reckon that it would be of no use to the activities of their NGOs (a great shame).
Therefore, we can conclude that more than 1/2 of those who responded to this question (52%) would like to receive marketing information that will enable their work in the public sector to proceed more effectively.
From June, the following section appeared on the Portal: “Marketing of NGOs” in which general information can be found about marketing in the public sphere.
