Independent Historians Association a new non-governmental organization
Belarusian historians unite to form the Independent Historians Association. Today the constituent assembly of the will-be NGO gathers in Minsk. The participants will discuss the state of affairs in historical science and will approve the platform of their new professional association.
30 Belarusian historians will take part in today's event, in particular: Igor Kuznetsov, Tatiana Protko, Sergey Tarasov, Gennady Saganovich, Andrey Kishtymov, etc. The constituent documents of this new NGO provide for registration thereof with the Ministry of Jutice. Should the Ministry refuse to register the new Association, the founders will consider the possibility to work as a branch of any international organization such as the Academy of Historical Memory.
