The NGO “Women Centre of Support and Self-education” organized a training “Gender stereotypes” for the Youth within the frames of the project “Gender problems from the point of view of young people”. As a result of the training an initiative group was formed in order to continue studying of gender problems by a young people.

A presentation of a book, written by local historians, Ilya Kurkov and Igor Pushkin, “Mogilyov: legends, events and people” took place in a central regional library. The book consists of essays on the history of Mogilyov, which were compiled on the basis of archive documentation and literature sources. According to the authors, the publication is more like to be an attempt to gather in one book some interesting facts about this town and its region. The book is addressed to a wide circle of readers.

A Non-Governmental Organization “A spring of life” was registered in Babruisk with a goal to inspire young people to lead a healthy life-style through… music. The idea of creation of the NGO belongs to the musicians of a group “KIFA”.

A committee of soldiers’ mothers will appear in Babruisk. An initiative group has already 6 women, whose sons died during their military service in the Belarusian Army. The initiative group considers an opportunity of uniting with the committee of Afghanistan soldiers’ mothers.
