The legendary group Accept is giving a concert on April 29 at the Minsk Sports Palace.

For nine years after the Accept split, its leaders Udo Dirkschneider and Wolf Hoffman dispelled all rumors about their possible reunion. However, the phrase "never say never", dropped by Wolf in an interview, happened to be prophetical.

After deep consideration former colleagues resolved to meet again to let those who have never seen Accept alive to attend their live concerts.

What was the influence of the group on Soviet music lovers before the famous Perestroika? The influence was tremendous. The album Metal Heart, released by Accept in 1985, was more popular than the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple ° Led Zeppelin.

The band was founded in the early 1970s. In 1976, Udo Dirkschneider joined the band and gave a new ringing to its music. The same autumn the band made their debut at one of the most famous rock festivals Rock Am Rhein in Germany. The stunning audience of several thousands rock fans witnessed the birth of a new music style that even didn't have a name at that time.

The history of Accept is unique in its one way  the band hasn't faced any failures for 30 years. Even while speaking about the most legendary musicians, one may find blind spots on the sun. Accept is an exception. All their albums made a significant impact on the development of heavy rock music.

As time goes by, Accept has not got lost in the ocean of modern music. The band has decided to meet with their former membership. Accept musicians have been invited for most popular world rock festival. Their first concerts, after a long period of silence, will be given in Russia and Belarus.
