Under the supervision of UNDP Programme Manager and ICTD International Expert the   National Expert will facilitate impact assessment on improvement of Internet access and use in Belarus.

Major duties include:

·        Identifying relevant local research materials;

·        Informing local stakeholders about the assessment;

·        Establishing local stakeholder groups;

·        Establishing and maintaining contacts between the International Expert and local stakeholders;

·        Arranging and conducting interviews, collecting data;

·        Preparing the final report;

·        Interpretation at the meetings and translation of the required documents.

Requirements:

·        University degree in ICT or development related field;

·        Expertise in the area of ICT for development in Belarus;

·        Familiarity with the work of UNDP or other international organizations;

·        Strong analytical skills;

·        Organizational, administrative and planning skills;

·        Good interpersonal skills and ability for team work;

·        Excellent written and spoken Russian/Belarusian and English skills;

·        Computer literacy.

The employment is supposed for two months on a part-time basis.
