Sustainable Development Week held in Belarus

The international research and practical conference on sustainable development held in Minsk on 27-28 May became the central forum of the Sustainable Development Week.

Gomel region launches charitable action "Complete satchel"

Various organizations, companies and general public will make donations to the orphans and children living in families with low income. For many children a satchel completed with a full set of school accessories will be a real present.

Picture-show of children's works opens

22-23(248-249) 15.06.2004 June 3 the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus hosted an opening ceremony of a picture-show of children's works, which had been sent from all over the country to the contest of pictures, dedicated to the topic of refugees. The contest and the picture-show included more than 1000 schoolboys and date for the International Refugees Day marked annually on June 20 under the decision of the UN General Assembly. The contest was held for the second time.
