14(322) 08.04.2004 According to the survey, made by the Independent Institute of Social-Economic and Political Researches, 42,7% of the Belarusians think that corruption can be reduced through toughening of control over bureaucrats; 18,5% of those responded think that the problem of corruption should be solved through reforming of a State machinery; 17,1% wage raise for officials; 7,2% education and training of officials; 6,8% believe that noting will help.
