German Week is held in Minsk
186(1749) 02.10.03 On October 2-10 within the frames of a German Week, organized under the aegis of a german embassy, a range of arrangements will be held. One of the main arrangements of the Week will be a meeting of representatives of belarusian and german economies “Belarus and Germany: fair of possibilities”. China Days in Belarus

186(1749) 02.10.03 The Days of China have been opened in Minsk. Within the frames of the Days a range of cultural arrangements will be held, one of the main of them is a round-table discussion, dedicated to the perspectives of business and economical cooperation between Belarus and China.

192(1755) 10.10.03 Regional Non-Governmental Organisation "Gomel Children and Youth Association" can be liquidated in legal form. According to the principal officer of Justice Administration of Gomel Regional Executive Committee, the organization infringes its charter.

194(1757) 14.10.03 Alyeg Trusau has been again elected a Head of the Francysk Skaryna Belarusian Language Society at its eighth congress. A republican rada (a council) of the Francysk Skaryna Belarusian Language Society, consisting of 54 people, was elected as well.

199(1762) 21.10.03 Seminars of the Francysk Skaryna Belarusian Language Society start again their work:  those who wish can again meet famous Belarusian writers and historians. On October 23 one can listen to Kastus Taras; the theme of the seminar is “Minsk in the times of the Stalins’ repressions”. On October 24, 31 Vital Skalaban will give a lecture on the theme “History of belarusian parties and movements in Minsk”. On October 29,30 Anatol Grytskevich will talk about “Historical printing-house and toponymy in Minsk”. All the seminars will begin at 18 o’clock.
