Day of the native language

47(10430) 01.03.2004 According to the international UNESCO calendar, the 21st of February was the Day of the Native Language. A lot of countries celebrated this day. Belarus celebrated it as well: there was a meeting of people, speaking Belarusian, in the first Mink gymnasia. The participants and guests discussed the current state and future of the belarusian language.
