24(10407)03.02.2004 A belarusian united periodical report on implementation of the Convention on liquidation of all the forms of discrimination was presented on the 30 session of the Committee on liquidation of women discrimination in New York. The main idea of the convention is to ensure implementation of equal civil, political, economical and cultural rights.

What makes happy and unhappy the Minister of Justice

23(10406) 02.02.2004 94 Belarusian non-governmental organizations were registered in 2003, among them: 23 NGOs, having a status of an international NGO, 10 – national; 51 were liquidated. According to the Minister of Justice, Viktor Golovanov, the Ministry of Justice always welcomes activity of new-created NGOs, but not in case of infraction of the law.
