Let’s Plant the Forest

The Ministry of Forestry plans to hold a voluntary all-republican action titled Forest Day – 2007.
On this day, 10 million trees will be planted to lay new forests for the progeny. According to Ruzhena Novitskaya, the pres-secretary for the Ministry of Forestry, both non-governmental organizations and individuals have supported the idea. Currently the list of places, indicating where such voluntary action will take place, is under development. In some days, the information will be placed on the site of the Ministry, and also the citizens will be notified by different ways, e.g. through notes in the electric trains.
